WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I BECOME 1 OF THE 28?

First of all, you will get thanked and celebrated! You will also be allocated a Glacier Drop number, you might be Glacier Drop n.7 or Glacier Drop n.22! Your number will determine what part of the Glaciers Letter to Humanity of 2125 you get. 

The first part of this adventure is receiving the gifts and materials and getting immersed in them in your own time. That includes receiving your BioVinyl copy and your unique Glacier Drop Necklace in 2025; and receiving the book and oracle card-deck plus your unique Time Capsule with your unique fragment of the Glaciers Letter to Humanity in 2026. 

The Time Capsule is to be safeguarded and passed on in inheritance. 

Annual Glacier Drop gatherings will be hold online starting 14th December 2025,, in which we will be able to feel, think and create together with the inspiration of glaciers, and create a plan of action for our Glacier Drops inheritance to humanity in 2125, in which we might discuss opportunities, challenges and solutions together.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T HAVE A VINYL PLAYER BUT I STILL WANT TO BE A GLACIER DROP?

The biovinyl includes a code for digital download of the album - so you will still be able to listen to it. Furthermore, the vinyl is a visually striking art object you can use to decorate your home or hold in a special place.  

WHY 28?

Here is where we talk about numerology! The Glacier Drops project revolts around number 1. Number 1 is associated with leadership, the openning of new doors, creation and innovation. The year 2125 is a number 1 year. Glacier Drops as a name is a number 1, as well as it is the name ‘Glacier’ and the name ‘Néfur’. 28 is also a number 1, plus it is also divisible by 7, the number of the songs of the album; and it is a number connected to the Moon and divine feminine cycles. 

WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT THIS ALBUM?

This album is a unique piece of art. It is made entirely with the voice of Icelandic glaciers, combined with Néfur's voice, listening and conveying the glaciers' emotional legacy for humans to live a more embodied and meaningful life in a more connected and healthy world. It is not just music, it is a unique piece of environmental and spiritual legacy, and a creative process of co-creation with nature to be treasured. 

WHAT IS A BIO-VINYL?

A bio-vinyl is a vinyl created with eco-friendly and recycled materials in order to reduce environmental impact. No PVC! Sugarcane fibers instead. RPM is a Denmark based vinyl pressing plant offering this option. 

WHAT IS THE FOCUS OF THE BOOK AND ORACLE CARD-DECK?

Through the 7 mythological and archetypical songs, stories and the cosmological vision behind them, the book and oracle card-deck focus on Inspiration and Creativity, providing guidance into the embodied mystical journeys of life and art. 

WHO IS MAKING THE ORACLE CARDS IMAGERY?

Artist Belén L.Yáñez is creating ethereal, evocative images that relate to the songs through analogue collage. 

HOW ARE THE GLACIER DROPS NECKLACES BEING MADE?

Icelandic Glacier clay artisan Antonia Berg is carefully creating 28 Glacier Drop necklaces. Each drop will be uniquely made with a combination of glacier clay from Vatnajökull glacier with porcelain to be worn around your neck with a thread of dark leather. 

HOW IS THE GLACIERS LETTER TO HUMANITY OF 2125 BEING CREATED?

Medium and conscious community guide Míriam Erre has been working close with Néfur for a while. She will travel to Iceland and together with Néfur they will do a field trip to meet and listen to the glaciers. They will be able to listen and channel messages directly from these glaciers, creating material to be gathered by Néfur into the Glaciers Letter to Humanity of 2125.

WHY TO OPEN THE GLACIERS LETTER TO HUMANITY IN 2125 AND NOT NOW?

You are receiving the message from glaciers that is relevant now through the contents of The Water, The Lover album and book. The Glaciers Letter to Humanity of 2125 is to be opened in the future because now it needs to be protected. It will be delivered to humanity when they need it the most and they are able to understand it and embody it the most.  

IS BECOMING A GLACIER DROP A COMMITMENT?

Yes it is, although you will decide the pace, the time and attention you want to dedicate to it. The invitation is to immerse yourself into the album and book contents, and then engage freely in future gatherings and events (online or/and in person) that will provide you guidance and an opportunity to engage into the legacy and passing the Time Capsule on to future generations aspect. 

WHAT IF I LOOSE MY UNIQUE TIME CAPSULE OF THE GLACIERS LETTER TO HUMANITY IN 2125?

Do your best to keep it safe, but don't worry, there will be security copies of the letter and also you can ask for a replacement of your time capsule if you lose it. 

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE DIRECT DESCENDANTS?

It is not a problem if you don't have direct descendants. The important thing is that you choose someone you know and you appreciate from a younger generation to be the one who will be passing on the Time Capsule into 2125, whom in its turn will probably also have to choose their descendant.

WHERE IS THE MONEY OF MY PAYMENT TO BECOME A GLACIER DROP GOING TO?

The money of your contribution to become a Glacier Drop will help covering the production costs of the bio-vinyl pressing, the book and oracle card-deck, the necklaces and the time capsules.

HOW MUCH MONEY HAS ALREADY BEEN INVESTED INTO THE MAKING OF THE WATER, THE LOVER?

More than 20.000€ has been self-funded for paying artistic collaborators and studio fees for the creation of The Water, The Lover album. This project is not making profit, rather it is enabling its own coming into being. 

ARE PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE?

Yes! Payment plans are available to become a Glacier Drop. 

Pay in 2 and Pay in 3 are available options to split the 208€ that go into Glacier Drops in different installments according to your needs. Please click the request a payment plan button and write an email saying you are interested in a payment plan. 

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO JOIN THIS PROJECT?

Whenever you feel the calling and there are still slots available!

By joining before 14th December 2025 you get a plus as this will be the date of our first Glacier Drop Gathering, however you can also join after this date.

2025 is the International Year of Glacier Preservation and it will mark 100 years till the Glacier Drops Letter to Humanity gets open by our descendants in 2125, so there is a special significance in joining this year.
